SPECIALIST FOR PELTIER ELEMENTS

Peltier technology Peltier elements
Peltron GmbH – Peltier Technology and Elements: Our company was founded in 1977 and has since built up extensive know-how, expertise, and competence in the manufacture of Peltier elements and devices — consistently demonstrated in numerous successful projects.
At Peltron GmbH, one of our core principles is to meet our customers’ needs as quickly as possible, supported by our extensive inventory of finished parts. Your specialist for Peltier technology and Peltier elements
Peltier elements can be used for both cooling and heating. They are employed across various industrial sectors as well as in many everyday devices. A common abbreviation for Peltier elements and coolers is TEC, which stands for thermoelectric cooler. Our Peltier elements and thermoelectric solutions are primarily used in medical technology, a wide range of industrial applications, and in laboratories and laboratory equipment.
Peltier Element Supplier: Peltron GmbH
Peltier elements are thermoelectric converters that, based on the Peltier effect, create a temperature difference when an electric current flows through them – or generate an electric current when a temperature difference is applied.
Peltron GmbH supplies both standard and high-temperature Peltier elements.
The Peltier effect is named after its discoverer, Jean Peltier (1785–1845).
The effect is based on the contact between two semiconductor materials, each with a different energy level in the conduction band (either p-type or n-type).
When current flows through two successive junctions of these materials, heat energy must be absorbed at one contact point to raise electrons into the higher-energy conduction band of the adjacent semiconductor -resulting in cooling. At the other junction, electrons fall from a higher to a lower energy level, releasing energy in the form of heat.

Projects & Applications
Precision Cooling with Peltier Elements
Traditionally, thermoelectric technology has been used primarily for cooling applications, as well as for temperature measurement using thermocouples.
Peltier elements are found in mobile coolers and silent hotel refrigerators; in vehicles, they are used to air-condition seats and cool beverage compartments. In electric vehicles, precise battery temperature regulation helps ensure optimal performance and efficient charging.
